SBU or Sertifikat Badan Usaha (Business Entity Certificate) is basically a formal proof of a particular business entity.
It is essential if the business owner in the construction field is going to process SIUJK (Surat Izin Jasa Konstruksi).
SIUJK is a document required to carry out construction activities. You need this licensing both in government and non-government environments.
The local government will issue this SIUJK to construction service companies. If you want to create a SBU, it should ideally have accreditation from LPJK.
Because the cost of managing SBU Gapensi is very expensive, you need to be careful through all the production processes.
SBU Processing Fee and Requirements
To process the Business Entity Certificate, you must prepare several document requirements. In addition, you also need to prepare the SBU processing fee.
SBU Registration Requirements
Every business owner who will process the SBU must prepare the following requirements:
- Company establishment deed.
- Complete with Business License, SIUJK or IUJK.
- Disturbance permit or HO
- Company Taxpayer Identification Number
- Prepare 10 sheets of company letterhead with a logo
- Company stamp
- ID card of the company director whose name is listed in the deed.
- Four passport-size photos, each measuring 3 x 4
- SKT (Construction Business License)
- Company balance sheet
These requirements must be fulfilled so that the licensing application does not face rejection and must repeat the stages.
SBU Processing Fee
If you look deeper, the construction SBU processing fee has different amounts. This is because it depends on the association chosen by the company.
Cost Based on LPJK Regulations
LPJK National Regulation number 3 of 2017 is specifically regulates the range of certification and registration fees.
Based on this regulations, the range of SBU processing fee is as follows
- For subqualification P, the total cost is Rp100,000.
- Category K1 costs around Rp105,000.
- For category K2, you have to spend about Rp130,000.
- While for K3 costs Rp150,000.
- For category M1, you will spend Rp700,000.
- As for M2, the cost is around Rp1,000,000.
- For category B1, the cost you have to spend is around Rp1,950,000.
- The last category is B2 with a cost of Rp4,850,000.
Registration Renewal Fees
Essentially, SBU is valid for only 3 years. However, in the second and third years, every business owner is obliged to renew it.
If you fail to register, your business will incur fees and procedures similar to those for obtaining a new SBU.
Here are the registration processing fees for the second and third years:
- For subqualification P, the total fee you need to pay for registration is Rp10,000.
- For subqualification K1, the fee is Rp10,000.
- For subqualification K2, you must pay Rp15,000.
- For subqualification K3, the fee is Rp20,000.
- For qualification M1, the registration fee is Rp150,000.
- For M2, the registration fee is Rp200,000.
- For B1, the fee is Rp500,000.
- Lastly, for subqualification B2, the fee is Rp1,000,000.
Per Package Fees
The company association also determines the fees for processing SKA SBU (Business Registration Certificate) and SIUJK (Construction Services Business License).
It based on grades, including:
- Grade 2: Rp1,070,000.
- Grade 3: Rp1,760,000.
- Grade 3: Rp2,535,000.
- Frade 5: Rp5,035,000.
- Grade 6: Rp7,185,000.
There is also a fee for blank certificates for the establishment of Business Entity Certificates at Rp30,000 per sheet.
This fee will be multiplied by the field of business chosen by the construction company.
Gapensi SBU Management Fees
Many entrepreneurs in the construction sector do not understand what Gapensi SBU is and what its purpose is.
However, companies in the construction sector are obliged to join and become part of Gapensi SBU.
What is Gapensi SBU
Gapensi is an association that has been established for quite some time and has played a significant role in Indonesia.
The name Gapensi stands for Gabungan Pelaksana Konstruksi Nasional Indonesia Indonesian (National Construction Executives Association). Joining it will provide many benefits.
This association covers several areas related to construction, such as:
- Environmental engineering
- Architecture
- Mechanical
- Civil engineering
Basically, construction services are divided into 3 elements, namely cooperatives, State-Owned Enterprises or SOEs (BUMN), and private companies.
Members of Gapensi can be distinguished based on their obligations and rights. Gapensi consists of ordinary members as well as honorary members.
For an ordinary member, whether a cooperative, a privately-owned construction service, or an SOE, you must have SBU and SIUJK.
Meanwhile, for honorary members, the SBU and SIUJK fees come from national entrepreneurs, government officials, and influential figures.
Gapensi SBU Management Fees and Requirements
The SBU processing fee from Gapensi is around Rp20,000,000. The processing time is up to 4 weeks during working hours.
To become a member of Gapensi, you must fulfill several requirements, including:
- Filling out a form.
- A letter of application written on the company’s letterhead.
- Attach the identity of the company’s responsible person. Additionally, you must also include your Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and ID card (KTP).
- Complete company documents, including business licenses, PKP (Taxable Entrepreneur Confirmation), NPWP, domicile certificate, business license, and company establishment deed.
As for the requirements to obtain SBU directly along with the Construction Services Business License, they include:
- Filling out a form
- Providing complete management identity documents and proof of deposit in the bank for Gapensi membership card.
- Include an ISO 9001:2000 certificate with qualification B1.
- Complete with an agreement letter or process statement.
- Submit tax returns for the last 2 years.
- Additionally, you can include tax proofs for the last 3 months.
- Company balance sheet with qualifications B and M.
- You must also include Technical Manpower Certificates from Professional Associations.
- ID card and diploma from expert personnel.
- Lastly, you must also include office location map and layout.
The range of SBU processing fee varies depending on the association. It is advisable to find out so that the proccess can be completed quickly.
